I’m so thrilled to be the assistant principal at Roadrunner this year. My goal is to get to know the students and their families so I can help them be successful in school. I am a Paradise Valley Schools lifer, then went to community college, earned my Bachelor’s in Education from ASU and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University. I taught for twelve years in the district, working at Palomino, Cactus View, and Mercury Mine in kindergarten, first, and third grade.
When I’m not working, I’m usually with my family or my dogs. I have a Pug and a Rottweiler mix who I adopted from the Humane Society when I was volunteering there. I have a small, but very close family, and they all live nearby. I love taking my niece and nephew to Wet 'n' Wild, or having a cookout at my parents’ house. I love my job, but I'm always looking forward to some down time and finding that balance.
