Free homework help for PV Schools students through FROST
The FROST program--Free Resources for Online Student Tutoring--connects National Honor Society students with their K-12 peers to provide free after-school online tutoring. Students can take advantage of the system on a home computer, on vacation, or anywhere there's an internet connection.
The FROST system uses WebEx technology for online screen sharing and optional two-way audio-video. After making the connection, peer tutors can tap into tools such as drawing, text, shapes and colors on a virtual whiteboard to help their students understand new concepts.
Live homework help is available between 4 and 8 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday.
By visiting https://sites.google.com/pvlearners.net/frost, students can learn how the system works and access the links to start a tutoring session. All sessions are monitored by certified PV Schools teachers.
