Greenway receives No Place for Hate® Award
Greenway Middle School will receive the No Place for Hate® Bill Straus School of Distinction Award at an education reception on May 13th.
Greenway will host a school-wide assembly on Friday, May 15th to celebrate the award. This is the first year that the award is being presented, and the school will receive $500.
According to the Anti-Defamation League, No Place for Hate® is designed to rally the entire school around the goal of creating a welcoming community, committed to stopping all forms of bias and bullying. No Place For Hate® provides a unique framework to incorporate new and existing programs with one consistent message. It helps schools foster a culture of respect and create a safe, bully-free learning environment for students at all grade levels.
